Last updated: June 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how The Balanced Therapy LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information submitted through thebalancedtherapy.com. Information collected after you become a client is handled separately through our clinical systems and applicable privacy notices.
Children’s Privacy
This website and its consultation form are intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian should make an inquiry on behalf of a minor. If we learn that a minor submitted personal information directly, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Information We Collect
- Your name and email address.
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it.
- Your general service interest, preferred appointment format, and scheduling availability.
- Your optional consent to receive one-to-one scheduling text messages.
- Basic technical logs used by our hosting provider to operate and protect the website.
Please do not submit symptoms, diagnoses, treatment history, insurance information, or other clinical details through the website consultation form.
Cookies and Analytics
The website does not currently use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may process ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp, to deliver and secure the site.
How We Use Your Information
We use consultation information only to respond to your request, discuss scheduling and service availability, prevent spam or abuse, and meet legal or operational requirements. Submitting the form does not create a therapist-client relationship.
SMS & Phone Numbers
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving services. Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See our SMS Policy for details.
Service Providers
Our hosting provider, Vercel, and our form-processing provider, Formspree, process consultation submissions on our behalf. Email, scheduling, and clinical-platform providers may also process information when needed to respond to you. Providers should receive only the information needed for their role.
Security and Retention
We use encrypted connections and access controls designed to protect information in transit and at rest. No internet transmission is completely risk-free. We retain consultation information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. To make a request, contact info@thebalancedtherapy.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
